Megan Lam
Co-founder & CEO of Neurum Health
Megan is CEO of digital behavioural health company, Neurum Health. With a background in neuroscience and behavioural health research, she investigated how digital data from our connected devices could act as indicators in understanding mind and lifestyle health and wellness patterns in-the-wild. Megan has spoken globally on the intersection of technology, service design and behavioural health. She believes meaningful changes emerge from intersections of different fields, driven by people solving shared problems.
Elizabeth LaCouture, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor & Founding Director of the Gender Studies Program at Hong Kong University
Elizabeth is a historian of women and gender in modern China and East Asia. Her current research is on the history of beauty and cosmetics in the Chinese world. Elizabeth has been a feminist since she can remember and began studying women’s issues in Asia during her junior year abroad in Beijing. In addition to mainland China, she has lived in Japan, Taiwan, and now Hong Kong. Before moving to Hong Kong, she taught East Asian History in the US. Elizabeth enjoys teaching across the Gender Studies curriculum at HKU and watching her students share their experiences of empowerment with their surrounding communities.
Monica Chang, EdM, CAS
Child, Adolescent and Family Counsellor
Monica is a school counsellor at Chinese International School where she works with and provides support to students, families and teachers. She is the Peer Mentoring Programme Coordinator, a member of the Child Protection Committee and serves as an advisor to student-led programs Peace of Mind, PEARs and Gender Equality Network. Monica studied at the Harvard Graduate School of Education from 2012-2014. She received her Masters in Prevention, Science and Practice, as well as her Certificate of Advanced Study (First Class Honours with Distinction).
Dr. Gabrielle K. Tüscher
Eating Disorder Specialist, Clinical Psychologist & Registered Dietitian
Dr Tüscher has dedicated her extensive clinical training and professional expertise to treating individuals impacted by the 2 most stigmatised of diagnostics – eating disorders (all forms) and trauma (sexual, childhood and other forms). She has been recognised as a leader in the terrains of both psychology and nutrition, marrying relationships with self and our bodies. She provides therapy for interpersonal-conflicts, trauma; eating (and other) mental and behavioural disorders. As a respected clinician, she provides professional training and supervision to other mental health, and medical practitioners in diagnosis, treatment and management of eating disorders. Dr Tüscher remains passionate in providing survivors with a voice, and a path to acceptance and true recovery.
